Kakapo population now 125!!
On 5th April, the kakapo population reached 125. Some chicks have been taken to be hand-reared because the rimu fruit trees didn't produce enough fruit. Rimu fruit is one of the few things that kakapos eat.
I didn't intend to write a blog but somehow, for some reason, it keeps going. Like me. Don't bother looking at my profile because I haven't filled it in.
