We (that's me, CH and AV) went to see 'The Other Boleyn Girl' last night.

It was really rubbish. But quite enjoyably rubbish. Henry VIII had very wide sleeves and the Reformation was covered in about 2 sentences. Plus - unless all 3 of us missed it - they didn't show the death of the heroine's first husband.

But almost nothing can ruin a costume drama for me. Apart from Ray Winstone's Cockney accent in the TV version of 'The Other Boleyn Girl'.
