Cecil Sharpe should have left well alone

Unfortunately, jackonjack, in which I record the doings and sayings of that demi-god of Moorhensroad, Mr Jerome, has died through lack of contact with the deity. I saw him a couple of weekends ago though and thought that this conversation might amuse:

We were talking about music. Jerome has never approved of our folk music activities. He thinks folk music is dull.

Marv: I was singing a little song and Rence was dancing.
Jerome (appalled): What is this, the bloody 1890s or something?
