I really do not enjoy thinking that things are rubbish. I'd rather think things are OK, or amusing, or even good.
But really, when you are giving a talk you should not stand behind your podium without moving and then read your notes out without varying your tone of voice and not looking at your audience. Also, you should not put the same notes on a slide because then everyone knows what you are going to say next, making it sound even less interesting.
It's exhausting to listen to a day of this, particularly when it takes place in rooms with no natural light.
