Suffolk Punch. Rarer than kakapo?

At work the other day, the conversation turned to Suffolk Punch horses. They are large, and now very rare, shire horses. They used to keep a stud at a prison and the prisoners used to work on the farm but the farm is being sold, so the farm is run as a charity.
