Neeps aren't parsnips, neeps are swedes. Except in your house, obviously.
Not that you'd catch meeting eating them either way.
Thank you for the correction. I'm sure neeps are swedes in my parents' house.
We used to have swedes at school and no-one would eat them. If you got them, people would point at your plate and say, "Er, sick. You're eating sick."
And rightly.
